From September 2012 to July 2014, MOB supported Vopak in constructing the ‘2000 Group’ tank terminal. MOB was responsible for the pipelines, steel work, paintwork, scaffolding, and insulation as well as construction of various modules for a new 52 storage tank terminal.

A total of around 17 km of pipeline as well as several large and small modules were prefabricated and installed. These pipes and modules were transported mostly by boat and pontoon to the Vopak site, where they were hoisted to their final location. In addition, MOB installed conveyor pipelines and connections to the loading cranes on the various jetties. This was a long-term and particularly high standard and challenging project.
